Welcome to the web site for the Coal Division, more formally known as Division 9 of the Mid Central Region of the National Model Railroad Association. Division 9 includes much of West Virginia south of Clarksburg, parts of southeastern Ohio, and a few counties in extreme northeastern Kentucky. Click here to see a map of Coal Division counties.
Due to the large and thinly populated area, Division 9 was inactive for many years. In 2003 the Division was reinstated. We have a very active core of members who are dedicated to bringing the benefits of NMRA membership to the area.
